Sherry B. Garr - Inspired by Dr. Suess, Sherry's rhyme writing began in grade school and led to her first book,
"123 What Do You See?" Combining her love for children and rhyming, Sherry wrote many stories
and poems, but felt that her message could make an even greater impact somehow. Her idea to
promote recycling in local elementary schools gave birth to "Gumfounded", a labor of love that's
as colorful and animated as Sherry herself.
With seven children and five grandchildren to keep her young at heart, Sherry is anything but a
stay-at-home mom these days. In addition to being an author, Sherry has also been a
motivational speaker on self-worth and service. She lives in Utah with her husband, and is currently
working on her next book.

Kirk Werner - Drawing upon his lifelong experience as a doodler, Kirk worked for many years in the graphic
design field, but knew all along that his greatest talents were being repressed. His lucky break
came when he stumbled upon an artist/animator position in the children's educational software
industry. Working for Edmark proved to be a dream job, but it appeared true that all good things
come to an end, and Kirk found himself in the ranks of the unemployed. Rather than changing
professions and becoming a thoracic surgeon, he opted instead to breathe new life into his
long-idle freelance business, Itchy Dog Productions (shameless self-promotion: Please visit
www.itchydogproductions.com)
And he's never looked back. Kirk lives in Washington State with his wife, two children and one
itchy dog. His kids do their best to keep him young despite the odds.
